This volunteer opportunity was life-changing! The work was absolutely amazing and the experiences I had were once-in-a-lifetime. The women's empowerment program was something so needed in this part of the world, so it felt like we were truly helping people. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to make a difference for marginalized communities, while being immersed in a new culture and meeting a group of like-minded people from around the world.Country
Nepal is absolutely amazing. I love how friendly and helpful the people are there and how they are always willing to welcome you into their home for tea and conversation. The entire country is vibrant with culture, history, and natural beauty.
Project & Staff
The support in the months leading up to the program, the communication with the staff, and the induction process were all very helpful. The staff were great with answering any and all questions.

Do your research on the project and your responsibilities before hand, but don't worry too much because there are always people to help you!
